Everyday our team of global volunteers comes together in an effort to make this world a better place for the Trans/GNC community. , Gender Freedom Society is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the position of Recruiting Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of volunteer coordinators responsible for recruitment, screening, interviewing, and orientation of volunteers. You will oversee the entire recruitment cycle to facilitate a positive and seamless experience for volunteers, and ensure that volunteers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding processes including e-learnings, other various training and procedures for volunteers. Collaborate with department heads to identify volunteer training needs, and lead development of role-specific training materials. Manage a team of Volunteer Coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure effective execution of recruitment activities. Facilitate orientation and training sessions for new volunteers, providing information about the organization, and ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills. Monitor the progress of new volunteers during the onboarding period, and provide support and guidance as needed to address any challenges or concerns. Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers throughout the recruitment process, answering questions, providing assistance, and fostering a positive volunteer experience. Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, including contact details, training completion, and assignments. Collaborate with Volunteer Coordinators to evaluate volunteer performance and provide feedback to department heads as needed. Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding process based on feedback from volunteers and stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred. Proven experience in volunteer management or recruiting, preferably in a nonprofit or similar setting. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire the team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and volunteer management software (preferred). Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and passion for the mission and values of Gender Freedom Society.
