The Operations Manager is responsible for overall management direction including the oversite of the profit/loss (P&L) of the Renewable Energy Group’s (REG) Divisions and will report directly to the Senior Vice President. Responsibilities include establishing objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries; providing quarterly review updates; planning, staffing, and supervising across all Divisional activities including personnel administration, performance management and review; creating an annual business plan supporting revenue and profitability goals; ensuring positive cash-flow; maintaining knowledge of all projects; promoting a "win-win" attitude with Division Managers; coordinating with Business Development, Pre-Construction, and Engineering teams; monitoring work quantity and quality; interfacing with Field Operations Manager on resources, quality control, safety, and costs; interfacing with finance on revenue recognition, claims, and job site support; managing profit/loss for business units with annual revenue over $100M. Requirements include advanced construction knowledge, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, successful project management record, organizational and time management skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle preferred, effective communication skills, self-motivation, and teamwork. Education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years extensive construction industry experience, preferably in Renewable Energy.
