Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12 hour shifts, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays Required

Job Description

Our Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurses must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs are equipped to handle a wide array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. They are trained to deal with various trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.

Responsibilities

• Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.


• Prioritize patients' injuries and medical needs accordingly.


• Formulate effective nursing care plans based on clinical knowledge and analytical abilities.


• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience working in an ED environment.


• ED experience within the past six months.


• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.


• BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS certifications.


• CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.
