We protect property rights through the careful examination of each property history to ensure they are free of liens and other title defects. POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for investigating the status of property titles and produce reports of their findings to ensure the property is free of any obstacle that could jeopardize the sale or the buyer’s rights to the property.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Reporting and sending out title documents within the required timeframes and consistently meeting established productivity requirements.
• Maintain the highest level of customer service by knowledgeably answering customer queries or concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
• Search title records and compile chain of title, as well as examine and interpret tax/assessment reports.
• Determine requirements needed to clear real estate title, if necessary.
• Protects customers’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION : High school diploma or equivalent; Title insurance license or the ability to obtain a title insurance license within 6 months of hire required. Based on location, a valid driver’s license may be required.
• REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE : Previous real estate experience required with regard to handling or examining deeds, mortgage or other related documents
• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Prefer at least 1 - 3 years of related work experience
• SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong customer service, Multi-tasking in a high-volume and fast paced atmosphere, Flexibility, Decisiveness, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling

Job Type:  Full time, Experience preferred
