Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients, ensuring their mental health needs are met through evidence-based practices. This role requires a strong understanding of medical and healthcare management, as well as familiarity with CARF standards. The Clinical Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Participate in case reviews and team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights on best practices.
  • Stay informed about current trends in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Clinical Therapist (LISW-S, LPCC-S, or equivalent).
  • Experience in medical management or healthcare management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CARF standards is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.

The Clinical Treatment Director will be a full-time employee of our operation. The Program Director will ensure that the Treatment Director meets the below qualifications.

Clinical Treatment Director must be available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week as appropriate to meet the needs of the children in care; the Treatment Director (also licensed clinical staff) shall be accessible on-site or face-to-face via interactive videoconferencing based on the youth's clinical needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Clinical Treatment Director is also the Licensed Clinical Staff (this individual shall meet qualifications for both positions) and is also responsible for the following:

(1) The overall treatment program, including clinical responsibility for the management of the operation’s therapeutic interventions.

(2) Conduct and approve assessments and individual service plans for each resident

(3) Providing direction and overall management of the treatment program.

(4) Reviewing a youth’s diagnosis(-es) and supervising all licensed clinical staff.

(5) Reviewing needs identified and plan for treatment based on a youth’s diagnosis(-es).

(6) Reviewing the techniques, strategies, and therapeutic interventions that are planned for the youth to improve adaptive functioning.

(7) Reviewing medications prescribed for a child with special review of psychotropic medications; the presence or absence of medication side effects, including the effects of the medications on the child’s behavior; laboratory findings; and any reason the child should not use a medication

(8) Clinical staff must be available 24/7 to come on site to the residential facility based on the youths medical and or behavioral needs to alleviate a crisis,

(9) Work with the program director in the admission discharge and service planning of clients and assist the program director with hiring training and supervising all direct care staff.

(10) Maintain rapport with other treatment providers of each resident concerning their care.
