Overview Were looking for a talented and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. Youll be a key player in transforming business needs into powerful reporting and analytics solutions, partnering with Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations teams to design, develop, implement, and support dashboards, reports, and analytics applications primarily using Power BI and QlikView. What You Will Be Doing Work with business analysts and users across departments to understand their reporting and analytics needs, and translate these requirements into optimal and scalable Power BI data models and visualizations. Design, develop, and maintain robust data models, dashboards, and reports, adhering to established Power BI architecture guidelines and best practices. Provide ongoing enhancements and production support for data models and applications. Understand critical business needs, identify issues promptly, and resolve them with urgency. Collaborate on design options, create mock-ups of proposed solutions, and develop applications and capabilities that align with agreed-upon specifications. Conduct thorough code reviews to identify opportunities for improvements, ensuring high-quality, efficient solutions. Configure user authentication and implement robust role-based access controls for data and applications, maintaining data security and integrity. Proactively identify and resolve issues, bottlenecks, and failures through comprehensive troubleshooting, problem-solving, and impact analysis. Participate in our Scrum process, taking ownership of Jira stories from conception to completion. What You Will Need To Be Successful Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and administration Experience with QlikView is a plus Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical stakeholders About Us Who we are: Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
