As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents. You will interact with guests, employees, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address questions or concerns. This position is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:15 PM - 11:30 PMThur02:15 PM - 11:30 PMSun05:00 AM - 02:15 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
