As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Weekdays in Winnemucca, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government healthcare location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with a diverse group of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or engaging in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the government facility.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site staff to address concerns and uphold security-related standards at the location.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
