Job Summary

As a Crew Member at Blue Coast Burrito, you will work as part of a team to prepare and serve delicious burritos, tacos, and bowls, while providing excellent customer service. You’ll rotate through different stations—including cashier, line server, prep, and dining room—to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Hospitality

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.

• Guide customers through the menu, answer questions, and ensure accurate orders.

• Handle transactions at the register quickly and efficiently.

Food Preparation & Quality

• Prepare fresh ingredients daily (chopping vegetables, cooking proteins, prepping sauces).

• Assemble burritos, tacos, and bowls according to Blue Coast recipes and portion standards.

• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines.

Restaurant Operations

• Rotate through multiple stations (cashier, line server, grill, prep, dish, dining room).

• Keep dining room, restrooms, and service areas clean and stocked.

• Assist with deliveries, stocking supplies, and maintaining back-of-house organization.

Teamwork & Culture

• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other team members.

• Support fellow crew members during peak business hours.

• Uphold Blue Coast Burrito’s brand values of freshness, friendliness, and fun.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
