Position Summary
The Dental Assistant supports the dental team by ensuring efficient patient flow, maintaining a sterile and organized environment, and providing high-quality chairside assistance during procedures. This role is essential in creating a positive and comfortable experience for our patients while upholding Casper Dental Corp’s standards of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Assist dentists during all chairside procedures including exams, fillings, extractions, crowns, and other treatments.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and operatory rooms following OSHA and company protocols.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
Review patient medical histories and update charts accurately.
Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
Maintain proper inventory and request supplies as needed.
Support front office team as needed with scheduling, patient flow, or records.
Follow all infection control and safety procedures consistently.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Current CPR certification.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and patient care.
Preferred:
1+ year of dental assisting experience (general dentistry or multi-specialty).
Experience with digital X-rays and electronic dental records (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental).
