This role is the face and voice of our practice. As such, you should be AMAZING at your job and have great interpersonal skills. Your main role is to support the veterinary team, clients, and patients. You will be responsible for appointment booking, client care and communication, phone triage, invoicing, and everything in between.
A typical day for the Veterinary Receptionist includes answering up to five phone lines, quickly navigating through patient records, thoughtfully determining needs of patients based on customer information as well as investigating patient history and scheduling as allowed by hospital protocols and legally established guidelines, and carefully updating medical records. Also, meticulously reviewing medical requests and prescriptions, retrieving small and large bags of pet food, and assisting with end-of-day cleaning duties to maintain the highest level of cleanliness for our patients and staff.
The Veterinary Receptionist uses sound judgment when communicating with clients, responds quickly and calmly to emergencies, and maintains high standards of customer care. This person communicates clearly with the veterinarians, staff, and clients to ensure that patients receive the care they need. They are friendly and flexible in the face of varying expectations from clients and coworkers. They multi-task, prioritize tasks well, and think creatively.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to work 4 - 5 full shifts per week between Monday - Saturday.
