First shift position Monday through Friday, Second shift position (2:30 pm to 11:00pm), will at some point move to four ten hour days Monday through Thursday (3:30pm to 2:00am) and a Third shift position which will be three twelve hour days Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Opportunity: CACI is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Fl. This is part of our Optical and Photonics Systems Division, we specialize in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art communications systems for military, space, and commercial applications.
Responsibilities: \n - Lead fabrication process development, documentation, ECOs, process training and responsibility to maintain production yield, quality and cleanliness.
\n - Interfacing with design engineers to ensure hardware producibility and develop build strategies.
\n - Drive cost reduction and commit the best process control to make top quality products for customers.
\n - Directing support personnel in the day-to-day execution of the manufacturing tasks.
\n - Actively thinking and acting independently to propose or translate ideas and new concepts into tangible results of processes.
\n - Plan and support the build and modification of electronics systems including procurement support, assembly method/work instructions generation, tooling design support, material/process development, facilities/equipment planning, and resolution of manufacturing, quality and reliability issues.

Qualifications: Required:
\n - Bachelor's Degree in ME, EE or OE and a minimum of 3 years or an Associate's Degree and a minimum of 5 years or equivalent combination of education and experience of working in Optics Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar industrial field.
\n - Knowledge of process control, cleanroom operation protocol, and process control for complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical assembly.
\n - Proven technical acumen in the manufacture, test and integration of complex product technologies and systems, DoD or Space.
\n - Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
\n - Excellent communication and ability to work well in team environment with people at all levels.
\n - Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.

Desired:
\n - Knowledge of MIL/IPC workmanship and performance standards related to electronic assemblies IPC-610, IPC-620, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-883, NASA Spec.
\n - Manufacturing Execution System experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$60,100 - $123,200
