ABR has teamed up with a top food production company that is is looking to add to a team in Rapids for a Full-Time Incoming Fruit Operator! This is a great foot-in-the-door opportunity for a reliable person.
Wage : $19/hour
Shift: 2-2-3 Rotating day shift- 7p.m-7a.m.
Job Duties:
must be certified to operate FL responsible for moving fruit bins from the freezer to the production plant, scanning, entering bin weight in scan gun and transporting to the staging area.
recording data on paper will be needed if scan guns are not working.
responsible for transporting bins of fruit via FL from the staging area to receiving ling and then depositing the fruit into the hopper.
responsible for entering bin data and weights on the incoming fruit process log.
responsible for monitoring conveyor operation, color, sorter, sliced, and slicer as part of receiving line duties.
will not mishandle equipment in any manner.
responsible for disposing plastic tote liners in the dumpster
responsible for using squeegee to gather loose berries and other debris for the waste tote.
responsible for emptying bins/toes
responsible for breaking down totes, stacking them to neatly to company or grower specific standards and moving them to their designated location.
Responsible for separating any damaged totes and putting them into their designated stacks.
Must be able to lift up to 50 # frequent bending, stooping, mounting, and dismounting FL.
Properly moves fruit from the freezer to staging and staging to the hopper using scan gun.
Responsible for dumping line waste into waste trailer.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Reliable and willing to learn
Manufacturing experience required
Forklift experience required
