The Hill at Whitemarsh, a five star community in Lafayette Hill, PA is seeking upbeat, friendly, service oriented individuals to work part time as utility/dishwasher. Experience a definite plus, but willing to train those with a positive attitude and a sincere desire to work with Seniors.
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: - Will be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and rotating holidays.
- Maintains a professional attitude and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Arrives to work on time and in proper uniform.
- Complies with all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintains workstations and areas, keeping them clean and orderly.
- Ensures proper use of equipment and utensils and keeps them clean and well maintained.
- Rotates product correctly, so that the oldest product is used first, to minimize waste.
- Always properly wraps, labels and stores food.
- Operates dish machine; ensures all dishes are cleaned, organized, and stored appropriately
- Ensures that dishwasher is in proper working order; responsible for routine cleaning of equipment and refilling chemicals as needed.
- Tests and documents dish machine temperature and sanitize daily.
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and food service areas, including sweeping and mopping floors and trash removal.
- Reports any kitchen or equipment repair or maintenance needed to the Dining Services Manager.
- Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor on duty.
