Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr Position Overview The ideal candidate for the Healthcare Recruiter, Travel Nursing will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and placing qualified nursing professionals in temporary positions across various healthcare facilities. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Job Posting and Sourcing: Create and post job listings on various platforms, including job boards and social media, to reach potential candidates. Utilize networking and direct outreach methods to source candidates actively. Candidate Screening: Review resumes, cover letters, and application materials to assess qualifications. Conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate candidates’ fit for specific roles. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate job offers with selected candidates, discussing terms of employment including salary, benefits, housing stipends, and other relevant details. Ongoing Candidate Support: Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and after placement. Address any concerns or questions they may have regarding their assignments. Compliance Management: Ensure that all recruited nurses meet necessary licensing requirements and comply with state regulations. Assist in credentialing processes as needed. Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with both candidates and healthcare facilities to ensure successful placements. Act as a liaison between both parties throughout the assignment duration. Achieve Revenue Targets: Since recruitment involves selling job opportunities to candidates and negotiating terms, experience in sales can be beneficial. Ability to achieve headcount quota and other key performance indicators is a must. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Previous experience in agency staffing, or sales is highly desirable; experience in healthcare is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. Knowledge of nursing specialties and healthcare facility operations is beneficial.
