Skills

  • Programming experience with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
  • Experience in developing experiments to collect data or simulate data when required
  • Ability to develop feature vectors for input into machine learning algorithms
  • Expertise in identifying and tuning appropriate algorithms for various datasets
  • Knowledge in evaluating and validating analytics performance using standard metrics (e.g., cross validation, ROC curves, confusion matrices)
  • Experience overseeing analytic development efforts and guiding teams
  • Skills in partnering with software engineers and cloud developers for production analytics
  • Capability to develop and train machine learning systems based on statistical data analysis

Responsibilities

  • Develop machine learning, data mining, statistical, and graph-based algorithms to analyze datasets
  • Prototype and select algorithms based on performance metrics
  • Build models or experiments to generate data when training datasets are unavailable
  • Generate insightful reports and visualizations for clients
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to automate manual analytics
  • Implement prototype algorithms within production frameworks for analyst workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline + 7 years of experience, Masters degree + 5 years of experience, or PhD + 2 years of experience
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with full scope Polygraph required
