Job Summary

The Surgery Scheduler co-ordinates all necessary appointments for the patient and attending physicians schedule. Maintains block times for all physicians. Reviews financial responsibility and sets up payment arrangements. Provide patient education as appropriate for appointments to include follow up after surgery.

Job Requirements

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Experience

• No Prior Experience Required

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Self starter.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification
