Job Description:
We are currently seeking a construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be familiar with a wide range of tasks related to labor work on job sites.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of construction sites before the start of a project.
Perform various physical tasks, including but not limited to digging, lifting, carrying, demoing, and operating basic hand and power tools.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Collaborate with other team members, including contractors, supervisors, and tradespeople, to complete projects efficiently and according to specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of quality and productivity.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress, issues, and any required adjustments.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Laborer in the construction industry.
Must have drywall, spackling, and sanding experience.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings is a plus.
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have Transportation
Valid Driver's license, registration and insurance.
