This role will perform civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and land development design tasks such as investigation and design of dams, a variety of water/wastewater distribution and treatment systems, site design and engineering, stormwater analysis and engineering, among other typical industry tasks. It will also have opportunities for project site reconnaissance, construction observation, and for the preparation of project scopes of service, time and cost estimations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and support Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, and/or Land Development Designer on assigned projects in all phases of design and construction.
Carry out assignments from Project Managers relative to research, feasibility studies, presentation material and schematic, design development and construction documents on engineering projects.
Provide the production of design calculations, specifications, estimates, construction details and sketches, and other technical documents for projects.
Perform site reconnaissance as required for projects.
Provide construction site observations for discipline's portion of projects.
Prepare scope of services and estimates of time and cost required to complete the project.
Prepare and investigate proposals as required.
Review and approve shop drawings and other construction submittals as directed.
Follow procedures outlined in C.T. Male's CAD standards for producing construction drawings.
Pay Range: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university or one to three years of experience in Civil Engineering or the equivalent combination of both.
E.I.T. is preferred.
Strong team skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, 3D and/or Tedds preferred.
Willingness to undergo drug testing or fingerprinting as may be required by specific client projects.
Valid driver's license.
