Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support live broadcast signals, working closely with the 24/7 engineering team.
• Utilize signal flow diagrams and engineering drawings to diagnose and resolve technical faults.
• Support Master Control Operators to ensure on-air stability during live events.
• Follow established processes and procedures to maintain operational excellence.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify concepts and find resolutions.
• An educational background in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is a strong asset.
• Some experience with broadcast systems or working in a live broadcast environment (news, sports, live TV) is ideal.
• Familiarity with broadcast automation concepts.
• Knowledge of standard networking protocols and Video over IP (VoIP) is helpful.
• A strong ability to follow processes and procedures meticulously.
• Must be willing to work a rotating swing shift schedule (afternoons, evenings, overnights) following an initial training period.
