Description of Work : Continuous Posting - Multiple Positions may be filled from this posting. Adjunct faculty are needed to teach undergraduate level Homeland Security courses in the assigned Department of Social Sciences and for teaching curriculum and content in alignment with ECSU's mission and values in a virtual classroom environment. Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in teaching discipline. However, those with a combination of education and experience in the field of homeland security will be considered. Demonstrated experience teaching online courses utilizing Canvas as the LMS platform is preferred. Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies. Must be committed to excellence in student learning and the ability to promote students' ability to succeed in a multicultural and global community.
